The enemy will do everything to deceive you about what God has said and who God is, and attempt to move you to doubt the character of God. Will you hold the line in faith or flee in fear?

Moses leaves Egypt not afraid of the power of Pharaoh, but looking unto the unseen God of his fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. After years of faithfulness in the desert, Moses has an encounter with God that will propel him to undertake a daring act: confront Pharaoh.
By faith, Israel passed through the sea and was delivered from Egypt. Faith is necessary to step into the sea, and deliverance comes as faith passes through the sea.
Moses had everything Egypt could offer — status, wealth, power — and he refused it all. In this message, "Faith Looks Ahead," we look at Hebrews 11:23-26 and Exodus 2 to see what gave Moses the courage to walk away from the treasures of this world and pursue the infinite, surpassing glory of God instead.
Moses lives bold and unafraid of Pharaoh during the outpouring of the ten plagues, the last plague of the Passover Lamb is IMPORTANT. Moses and Israel must obey the instructions completely if they want to escape such a terrifying judgment. Real FAITH always FOLLOWS directions.
As Christians, there is a rest waiting for us, but only after we have worked to take dominion over every area of our lives for Christ. This is seen in Hebrews 4 and Joshua. Stop playing and take dominion for Christ.
There is a Scarlet Thread that the Scriptures are woven by, the scarlet thread of Christ. This thread appears in the narrative of Rahab in Joshua 2. Though seen with Rahab, it is fulfilled in Jesus the Messiah.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. Following God's commands isn't insanity; it's marching to the beat of faith until God shows up. This sermon looks at how faith marches on through the example of Joshua at Jericho.
